Food Pantry
Every Thursday afternoon from 1:00-2:00 PM we provide food boxes for people in need in our community. The boxes are picked up at the church and contain an assortment of food. Please be sure to bring an ID.
Snack Packs
We provide snack packs to our local schools. The snack packs are given to children on Fridays to provide food during the weekend. This is a partnership with Pekin Outreach Initiative.
Blood Drive
Six times a year we host a blood drive for the American Red Cross. The months are January, March, May, July, September, and December. The first five months are on the fourth Thursday and December is on the first Thursday.
Community Garden
The goal of our Community Garden is to add fresh vegetables to our Food Box and to give out additional food to the community.
Pekin Outreach Initiative
Pekin First Church of God partners with the Pekin Outreach Initiative in community projects. We are looking forward to working with them to make Pekin a better place to live.
