The garden is located on-site at Pekin First Church of God.

Volunteer

Volunteering in the Giving Garden is more than pulling weeds or planting seeds, it's a way to:

  • Give back to local families in need
  • Earn community or Master Gardener hours
  • Learn and share gardening skills
  • Work in a peaceful, faith-filled space
  • Connect with others in service and joy
  • Harvest honey from our eight bee hives (fall season)

Who Can Volunteer?

Everyone’s welcome! Whether you're:

  • A Master Gardener needing hours
  • A student or community member earning service credit
  • Someone who just loves getting their hands dirty and helping out
  • No experience is needed, just a willing heart and helping hands.
