The garden is located on-site at Pekin First Church of God.
Volunteer
Volunteering in the Giving Garden is more than pulling weeds or planting seeds, it's a way to:
- Give back to local families in need
- Earn community or Master Gardener hours
- Learn and share gardening skills
- Work in a peaceful, faith-filled space
- Connect with others in service and joy
- Harvest honey from our eight bee hives (fall season)
Who Can Volunteer?
Everyone’s welcome! Whether you're:
- A Master Gardener needing hours
- A student or community member earning service credit
- Someone who just loves getting their hands dirty and helping out
- No experience is needed, just a willing heart and helping hands.
