A 31-week journey through the Bible, starting this summer at PFCOG
One Story. One Book. One Chapter at a Time.
The Story simplifies the full biblical narrative, from Creation to Revelation, into 31 chapters of connected teaching. Each Sunday, we’ll explore one key story that shows how God has worked through flawed, ordinary people across history... and how He’s still working today.
This series is built on content by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee, made personal through Pastor Steve’s weekly messages.
- Understand how the Old and New Testaments are beautifully connected.
- See how figures like Abraham, Ruth, David, and Peter reveal God’s grace.
- Reflect on how your own life story fits into God’s bigger picture through life-mapping practices, allowing you to find meaning and direction as you connect your story to His.

September 14 | The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
For almost three hundred years Israel will be ruled by Judges. Israel repeats a cycle of obedience, disobedience and crisis. At that crisis moment God raises a new Judge to deliver the people of Israel.
Purpose: We learn from the book of Judges that when we are casual about our relationship with God we slowly slip away from God. The good news is that God searches for us and wants us back. Our story is much more powerful when we do not become casual and live our life in a cycle of disobedience and repentance
